A 184 Berger is 3.150

Look at the SAAMI spec sheet or your reloading manual at the distance from the base of the case to the neck/shoulder junction. You will find it is ~1.725".

Now look at the Berger bullet specs and find the bullet overall length and the boat tail length. Subtract the boat tail length from the OAL. That will be ~ 1.400"

1.725" + 1.400" = 3.125"
