If you have any Ramshot Big Game, give it a try with mag primers. I have loaded for 3 different 7mm08's all shot very well with this powder. If that doesn't seem to work well, I'll likely try H4350 next
For accuracy and speed, Big Game seems to be the ticket in the 7mm08 with bullets 120 to 150with 140 gr bullets , nothing makes velocity like RL17 . I use it with 140 bergers . if you can find it buy a pound .
I have had great luck with Hornady150 eldx getting around 2800fps out of 22' barrel .5 or better @100
7mm08 150 Hornady eldx
46.3 Ramshot Big game
Fed 215m
Winchester brass
Load is near max, so work up.

Yes 3 Whitetails 1 @ 20 yards 1 @ 80 yards and 1 @265 yards bullet preformed well, 2 went straight down, high shoulder shot and one @ 265 double long shot went 20 yards and fell over all bullets existed. The eldx seem to work great out of the 7mm08's they are a little on the soft side, prefect for deer.Hey Buck, have you taken any game with the 150gr ELD-X?
I got a nice 0.5" group with 45.5gr of RL17, Nosler brass and GM210M. I'm somewhere around 2,750 fps.
I had the same problem with RL 17 good speed, not so great in the accuracy department..RL17 edges Big Game a bit on velocity, between 20fps and 50fps more based on the manuals I've been reviewing. But I have found RL17 a little harder to find good groups with. I have not tried Big Game yet.
