My advice is this:
Speed kills- EVERYTHING!
It will kill barrel life and accuracy. There will be some here that will say it is obtainable but it will come with a price.
I would suggest the 6mm Rem AI or the 6.5 -284 or maybe a 6mm- 284.
A 1-8 for the 6mm and maybe a 1-10 for the 6.5 if all he will shoot is 100-120 gr.

I've got a buddy who wants to launch a 6mm or 6.5 mm 100 grain at 3800~4000 fps. I've been looking for wildcats and factory rounds. I have just now been able to get back on this site for some reason windows decided it needed a break from this site I guess. So my question is what are your thoughts? He wants it for varmint shooting and wants it either in 6mm or 6.5 mm so no 30 cals or anything under 6mm please.
