Has anyone tried the 90grain etip. Im thinking of trying it in my 6mm-300wsm. I have used the 115 vlds but couldn't get them to shoot good over 3500fps. Im not sure if they wouldn't blow up when it hit a muledeer or not. If you guys know of a 100 grain bullet that can handle the fps please let me know.

My son shoots a 90 gr. E-tip in his 6mm Remington at 3160 fps. He's taken antelope, deer, and a large cow elk with it last year at 350 yards! I think it's a great bullet and I did some water jug tests at 100 and 300 yards and it penetrated and held together perfectly. I don't see it coming apart in your miniature cannon! I also feel the 100 gr. Nosler Partition would be a good one too! They never let you down and that's what I shoot in my 6mm. Good luck!

What velocity have you been getting with the 115's and what barrel length and powder.
I have a 6-284 was wondering how much more performance you are getting.
I've thought of building a 6wsm as well and would like some more insight.
The 115DTAC's may hold together better than the Bergers.
You might want to give them a try.
