6mm-06 loads

Any 6mm-06 guys on this site? I'm looking for some loads using 90gr Swift sciroccos and 100gr Sierra GK's. Thanks---2MG

Try 240 wby loads may want to start a little lower, worked for me with the 6mm/06 A.I.I don't shoot the bullet you asked about. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I know there is one guy lurking around here somewhere. He used to shoot RL 19 but has recently switched to Retumbo. Both of these were behind a 115 Berger. Just be patient and he'll chime in.

2muchgun I have never shot bullets that lite. I shoot retumbo 55gr with 115 VLD cci 250 mag primer. my barrel is a hart 30"1-7 shoots in the 3's at 100 and 1 1/2 at 500.

I shoot a 6mm-06 improved. Ill try to help if i can. I shoot 88gn Bergers with 58.5 VihtaVuori N165, CCI BR primer, and nosler 30-06 brass necked down. Krieger 28in barrel 3650fps.

I ran the #'s in Quickload to get the same psi in a 6-06 show's 56gn's of N165. I would start about 53 or 54 to see how it works. What powder do you have on hand and ill run it and see.

My pet load for the 6mm-06 is 57 grains of H1000 with a 107 MatchKing in a 30 inch barrel with an 8 twist at 3433fps.

Dang boys I can get 3600 with 87gr Hornady V-maxs with 54.5 grs of WXR thru a 26"tube in 6x284 54 of H4350 can give me 3700.No jive.
