It's a CAA cheek piece for 6 position ar stocks, i just added a picatinny rail (actually it's a CAA ar hand guard rail) to the side of the stock, slipped on the cheek piece, and adjusted.

That's a good looking rig. I've got a quick question for ya... I have a marlin 981 T (tube fed). Would i see any improvements in accuracy if I was to float the barrel and tube? Can it be done and is it worth the effort? Sorry if its a dumb question, but I just didnt know the answer.

on the free loat with a tube magazine, honestly, i don't know either.

i would have to think that there would be some benefit to it, however the tube magazine (especially with ammo in it) would probably negate the gains, so it probobly wouldn't be an actual "free float"
