6 ppc at 1000 yds. ?

I just bought a 98 mauser 6 mm ppc from a reputable local gunsmith . does anyone think it`ll do well at 1000 yds. I`m guessin 90 gr. berger ( since I can`t find my favorite 87 gr. now , probably H322 powder and br primers ?

A quick run of the numbers, at ISA, a 90 gr Berger fired at 2800 fps, will go subsonic at ~950 yards. If you want to shoot paper, I guess that's up to you. I certainly wouldn't shoot any big game animal with a transonic bullet, and <300ft-lbs of energy from that far away.
