I'm looking to find a non temperature sensitive load for my 22in barrel 6mm Creedmoor for hunting using 108gr Elite Hunters,ADG brass and large rifle primers. I have plenty of mag length to go long. Was thinking about going with RL16 but I have lots of Staball 6.5 and N550. Anybody running anything similar or have ideas of things I should try? H4350 seemed a hair too fast when I messed with loading a little bit. RL16 worked pretty good with the old 108 eld m load I had but it was only about 2900-2950. Would like to be a hair faster.
Thanks

Haven't heard a lot of love for the Staball, but its worth a try. Make sure you use a mag primer. Also, H4831SC may be a good option. All that said, I've had great luck with H4350 and RL16.

H4350 or RL-23. I get identical velocity from the two in a couple 6mm's but the RL-23 has been less temp sensitive. I shoot mostly in the desert so it matters. About 40 grains with either should put you where you're looking to be velocity wise.

I am running the 105 Hyb over 42.0gr H4350, Fed GM205M (SRP) w. Lapua SRP brass in my 24" 1:7.5" 6CM, and getting 3101fps. I can get 3200 at the top end, but don't want to push it that hard.
I had the 115 HVLD up to 3084fps at the top end too.

I'm running Alpha SRP brass with Fed gmm primers. H4350, AND 108 eLDMs. No problem getting 3150, excellent accuracy.

6MM Creedmoor Alamo Precision Rifle
24" Bartlein 7.5" twist
Defiance Anti X
108 Elite's 0.042" off Lands
6.5 Staball 44.3 grains 3,152 Avg (3152, 3152, 3159, 3152, 3154 5 shot ladder)
210M Primers
ADG Brass New

I just ran the ladder, found the node and already pretty much knew the seating depth it liked all this morning.

Bam ......0.3 moa 5 shot cold bore shots @ 200 Yards.

I like the powder at a first glance. I'm going to shoot it this fall and winter and see how it holds up but looks promising.
