6.5X284 Throat Erosion

Quick question,

I have a 6.5X284 that has 450 rounds down the tube. How much throat erosion would you expect? Mine is showing .066. Is that in line with what you would expect?

No for the bad thing, I just loaded 50 rounds at the old seating depth and thought I would check it out. Now I have a bunch of rounds that need to be pulled and reseated!

Just FYI, I am shooting 49 gr of H4350, fps was 3050.

Pretty much spot on for the 6.5x284, especially being pushed as fast as 3050.

Most are running around 2950 or so.

you are going to have to monitor and change seating depth every hundred rounds to keep on top it.
