Like everyone I have scrambled to find what I need to load for this rifle. First Light Vanguard with brake. I have 130 ELDs, 140 ELDs and US 869, Peterson brass CCI mag primers. Wanted some 8331 but can not find any. Have any of yall had any experience loading this round? I think now I am going to go with the 127 grain Hammers.

Check out Bruno's shooter supply for 8133. They seem to have it in stock a lot lately.

US 869 should be an excellent powder, I used to use heaps of it until it was no longer available here.
If you have no load data for this powder or cartridge, you could look up loads for the 6.5STW, they will be very similar and probably higher with the freebore of the Weatherby round.
Sorry I can't help you out further.
I run a few 264WM rifles and my biggest peeve is that no bullet or powder manufacturer have tested the new slow powders in it and have said they have no plans to do so! Very frustrating working up loads with no data.

Cheers.

Not sure if you're willing to stick one of these ugly rubber things on your rifle but I've basically been able to pick my bullet/speed and get .5 moa. Recently used bergers max charge of 77.5 gr of n570 with 165 bergers @ 3.628 and 3140 fps pic is 200 yds and 2 shot groups to bring just left of bullseye ( this seems to work really good for holdovers so I don't have to click)

Muzzle brake is a home made that doesn't really help the recoil a lot but keeps it coming back straight

Thanks for your help. I have collected various data from articles by Barsness and others. The 869 and 8133 seem to be the best performers. I have had no luck finding 8133 which is less heat sensitive.
