What is a 6.5x284 win mag? Do you mean 6.5x300?

I thought that too but he says it is a Rem 700. Maybe its a older 6.5x284 with the short throat, and its stamped 6.5x284 Win? Anyway Scooby, we have a mystery on our hands :D
