I just had to share this. This rifle has been amazing since day one, but yesterday I shot two really good groups in 6mph up & down wind which blew my mind. The top group measures 1.25 inches, and the lower one would have been in the 2 inch range except the wind died just before I shot on one shot. The steel was at 555 yards.

Looks like you have a shooter! From the pics it looks like a Savage and if it is I don't doubt it. Tell us more of your equpment and load. JohnnyK.
 
great shooting, I really like your popper. That looks like some good old fashioned country engineering. looks like some of the stuff i've welded up in the garage to shoot at. keep it up
