6.5 velocities

6.5-300 26" 7 twist
131 hammer@ 3527 very accurate could probably push faster but why? Got 10 of these out of the classifieds and blown away at how well they shoot basically tossed them over my lrx load and viola.

Nice! Have you tried any of the heavier pills?
My 24" CA Ridgline 6.5 PRC is getting 3020 fps with a Berger 140 vld with 58.2 gr of retumbo. I think there is room for more but it shoots great right there.

My Cooper JLR 26" barrel is at 3100 fps with a Berger 140 vld and 56.5 gr of retumbo. I really thought my magneto speed was lying but a labradar said the same 3100 fps.

You didn't mention the Sherman cartridges, but since they have parents of the ones mentioned, I didnt think you would mind. I will use examples of loads with the 4 or 5 top powders at near max with a 26" barrel. N570, N565, RL26, 8133 RL33. Most other slower powders from 4831 up would yield 50' less

140 berger
6.5 Sherman. 3250-3275
6.5 sst. 3150-3175
6.5 ss. 3225-3250
*6.5 max. 3275-3325

156 Berger
6.5 Sherman. 3125-3150
6.5 sst 3090-3120
6.5 ss. 3125_3150
*6.5 Max. 3175-3200

*estimated based on 7Max
I forgot, thank you! I need to research this caliber...

What case does it use?

26N
3490fps with a 127LRX
3340 with a 140vld
3300 with a 140ab.
3315 142lrab

260ai 25" barrel
2850 with a 140vld
3130 with 129lrab
2910 with 142 lrab

6.5-284 24"
140vld 2790 def not a max load but very accurate and consistent.

6.5cm
2815 with a 143eldx
2920 with a 130 gamechanger
Thank you! I didn't realize the cm was getting that much velocity...I'm new to this... I've only just started researching
