She's hunted several years with a youth 6.5 grendel, and wants to try a pistol just for something different. I'll probably end up with a carbine at some point.

If you haven't checked out Gary Reeders site for Contenders I'd recommend it highly. I have shot the .240 Raptor extensively and it is a great round. My other favorite barrel was a Bulberry .357 Maximum.
