Hey Guys,
I have a very good friend in WY who inherited a custom 6.5 Rem built on a mauser 98. He wants to set it up as a 600 yard hunting rifle. Trouble is he can't find any factory rounds or reloading brass.
Anyone know of any?
Thanks, Kirk

I found a little. 5 boxes Trophy Gold should keep him busy for a while.
Trophy Gold

One of my hunting buddies loves shooting his Rem 600 in 6.5 Rem Mag. When the seasonal runs of ammo comes out he grabs up what he can afford. That is how he has fed his habit for a while now.

Nosler loads a 125PT in the Custom line. They're expensive but the brass should be decent. Looks like they are out of stock at this time. Just call them and back order I guess.

Or he could form his own cases from 7 Mag or 338 Mag using Redding case forming die

Personally I would grab this set off forming dies off eBay and never look back.

My google fu is strong today

If you can get a hold of any of these cases you have a starting point for forming you own brass. I suggest getting as close as you can, to cut down on the work.

Good to hear someone else likes his little 600 Rem.. I just pillar bedded my 6mm / 600 Rem. Always been a good little rifle for me. Not much material to work with on the tang. :)
