got a 660 remington.when i am setting up seating die on a dummy round i find that the120 grain nosler balistit tip is down in the powder part of the case.i am useing du pont 4350 powdere.with a load that is about 2 grains under max in the nosler reloading book will i find i have a problem if i start to load in .5 grain incranents to load for this case?

I like about 1% powder charge changes.
So a 50 grain starting charge weight would be .5gr increments.
60gr would be .6gr increments.
70gr would be .7gr increments.
Etc.

Find 2 in a row that shoot great, and fine tune from there in .2-.3gr increments.

Thats one of the problems with these rifles. The mag boxes are short. Are you using Imr 4350? Nosler lists 57 grains as max at 100% load density at 2.8" coal.
