6.5 PRC vs 7MM Mag recoil

So I have owned both in similar rifle weights. The 7mm recoil is definitely stouter. I can shoot the 6.5 PRC without a brake all day and it isn't a big deal. Kind of feels somewhere between a 7mm08 and a 308 imo, just a little sharper. I was shooting 168's in my 7mm over a stiff load of retumbo and it wasn't super fun to shoot.

+1

The increase in recoil is substantial

Shooting the same weight bullet and rifle, it would be like the difference between the .280 Rem and 7mm magnum. Ten grains powder. Heavier bullets make it even greater.
