Here is my 1878 Sharps Borchardt. Chambered for .243 Krag RCBS. Which I bought off the rack at Cabelas. I do not load it hot but it takes 40 plus grains of 4350 burn rate powders to push 85 to 90 grain bullets at 6mm Remington (I also have Browning B-78 in 6mm Remington) velocities. The twist is 12 so longer bullets are not practical.
