Trying to figure out which barrel I would be better off going with, either a 24,26,or 28 inch to get the most out of a 6.5 Creedmoor?

The original boxes of Hornady ammo gave the velocity specs from a 28" barrel. My smith told me he personally wouldn't go any longer than 26" because you just aren't burning enough powder to get significant gains with the longer barrel. He suggested a 24" would be adequate, but I wanted a 26 to match my other rifle so that's what I'm building off of.

I'm shooting a 25.5" and getting 2850 fps +/- with 42.5 gr H 4350 and 140 A-max bullets........awesome accuracy.
