Have a decent load with RL26 and the ABLR 142, but looking to maybe back it off a touch and try either a different powder/bullet. I was going to run a ladder with H4381SC on the 142's as well as try some 130 TGK and 127 LRX. Not wanting to burn up a lot of the LRX trying a bunch of different charges/powders, I was hoping someone would have a decent start point with RL26 and H4381SC (or would recommend a different powder). Thanks in advance!

If you get a good load worked up let us know. I am building a 6.5X284 for "F" Class and wanted to use H4381SC with SMK 142s
I also have 123 SMK, 130 STMK, 140 SMK and H4350 ., H4381SC, 6.5 STABALL

My original load development consisted of RL26, H4350, H4831, Staball, and RL23. I shot all of these powders under a 143gr ELDX and for my rifle, RL23 was head and shoulders above the rest in accuracy and was very close to RL26 in velocity. My finished load shoots at 2960fps. I believe it's possible to go over 3000fps with H1000 or Retumbo but that's for others to try. I'm good with where I'm at.

Stabal was a no go?

Not sure if this helps, but here's a real time post I did in March of 2020 with Staball and 140gr Speer Gold Dot

I have used both H4350 (47.0 grn) and H4831SC (51.0 grn) with 140 VLD's and the Sierra 142's. Both have shot groups in the 2's and velocity range is 2920-2950 depending on components. 28" Criterion barrel.
