505Gibbs case holder for the Hornady 50BMG press

For those of you that own a 50BMG press, it comes with a nice beefy shell holder for the BMG, and an insert that takes the standard shell-holders. Well, I haven't had a lot of luck with the insert: it's not made for a case based on the 505 Gibbs. So, I spoke with Lonnie at Hornady's custom shop and they are going to make some BMG style holders for my rifle. I've requested two for myself. If you are also interested in something like this, please give Lonnie a call at Hornady at extension 208.

They're making them. I delivered two 375 Cheytac cases to Hornady. So far, three shell holders are being made for respondents.

I use an RCBS Ammo Master II press with an RCBS shell holder for the .505 Gibbs for all my .408 based stuff. The set up works flawlessly.
I don't know where you ran into trouble??
