Hav been running Hornady's 225FTX in my 5" with great accuracy on paper, I was in Scheel's here and was looking at the Muzzle Loader bullets and Hornady makes a %0 cal sabot with the 300 gr Flex tip in .452,bought a couple boxes 20 in a box for 14.95 tried them out with 39.8 gr. of Enforcer and 42.5 H110 cronyd 1745 and Enforcer was 1703,used my Redding profile crimp die and loaded to 2,43, works great ,kinda expensive but its fun and boy does it get attention at the range, Pete

Older thread, but I have a 460v on its way right now, I had stock piled hornady 300 gr. Sst ML bullets before they were discontinued. These are the ticket in my smokeless Muzzleloader, ran through a sizer for my barrel no sabot needed. Anyways I think I will load these in 460 as they are .452 diameter.

If you end up shooting pistol bullets be sure to get the XTP mag bullets. The normal xtp won't hold up good at 460 velocity, I've got a 20" encore barrel that's a riot to shoot at 454 speeds but a handful at full bore 460 loads.
