375 SAUM or 375 WSM Load Data

I just want to say that sounds like a blast and I'm curious about what the speeds would look like. What parent case? Obviously in a LA, I think I'd go with the WSM and use 325 or 300 brass. This sounds like fun. I want to know so much more.

Had one for a bit, 16 inch barrel, M700 Long Action
All my loads use ADI BM2 powder as its easy to get here, I believe it is the same powder as BENCHMARK
USE WITH CAUTION AT YOUR OWN RISK

Thanks for the info. I'm just trying to get an idea where I want to start. Mine's is a Remington 700 SA 375 SAUM. It's got a 20" ER shaw barrel. I had the reamer cut for a 260 Accubond seated with the boattail at the neck/shoulder junction. I'm running a hawkins m5 hunter prc/saum mag so max coal is 2.980. I'll be playing with the 260 Accubond, 235 speer hot cores and 185 Lehigh controlled chaos and maybe some others when available. I have H4350, IMR4350, Varget, Retumbo and H1000 right now.

I have a Ruger 375 and use IMR 4350 and shoot 300gr Sierra. There is always going to be slight difference in every rifle so I am going to recommend you to any of the powder reload data sites for starting information.

Here are 3 of the sites I use for starting loads. You can dial in your specific load depending on bullet, velocity, and powder and a lot of practice.

Thank you for the advice. I do the same thing when loading for commercially available cartridges. Unfortunately being a wildcat I was just wondering if anybody had played around with it yet.

Well still looking for ideas. Shot the gun today and and maxed out on pressure signs with IMR4350 and was only running 2350 with a 235 gr. Speer Hot-Cor. Was wondering what direction you would go in powder selection. Faster burn rate or slower. I have Varget, Retumbo, H4350 and H1000 right now. Thanks for any advice.

Faster Varget. BL-C2, h4895, h322, h335, 8208xbr, imr 3031, imr 4320, imr 4895 should also work well with the lighter bullets.

What was case fill with imr 4350 when you pressured out?

Not sure of case fill percent wise but I would say 100-105% I've always started low and just worked my way through powder charges watching for pressure signs.
