Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any information on the cheytac brand 350gr 375cal solids they produce? Bullet length as well as G1 or G7 bc would be awesome. I just called them to find out and after talking to two people there, they couldn't give me an answer to either question, which is ridiculous and not exactly confidence inspiring lol. Also if anyone has any recommendations on bullets in this weight range that can still be loaded to mag length that perform well id be interested to hear what you have to say.

thanks man, that’s a lot lower than I was hoping for, does anyone have any experience with the 353gr Lehigh defense bullet? They have it listed with a 1.023 g1 bc but given everything else in this weight class is much lower, this number seems optimistic at best.

The .422 g7 would only get me out to 2100 yds before it falls subsonic with a muzzle velocity of 3100 fps if I could manage to get it out at that speed.

I use 395 grain Hammer Hunters (Until a better Hammer comes along). Give Steve at Hammer Bullets a holler. They have some great offerings.

Personally I feel I'm under gunned w/a 350 grain pill.

I make some brass tips and inserted them in 350 SMKs. Upped bc and performance considerably. 18" less drop at 1500 yds. However, they are too much pain, time, etc when Hammer turns them out easily.

I think you had a thread about this. I was trying to use CEB Lazer tips but have not gotten it to work yet.

looked at the 377 and 400 gr cutting edge both are single feed only and I kinda wanted something that would allow me to mag feed as well as something that can also be used to single feed, would likely use the 400 as the single feed option and as it turns out cutting edge does make a 377 that can mag feed but it’s for gunworks only and I’ve yet to get an answer from gunworks if I could buy just the bullet from them.

Assuming you mean Gunwerks, I would be very suspect of a 377 gr .375 from CEB that would allow mag feed (their site shows everything from 330 gr up, except one Lazer, as being single feed). The Gunwerks HAMR, which appears to be their only named rifle in .375 CT, is running a 25" (twenty-FIVE inch) barrel, and they offer no 375 CT ammo. CEB also has dangerous game bullets (RAPTOR) but none that heavy. IMO, time to look elsewhere for what you want (if it exists) or for a mag and bottom metal that will support.

Yes gunwerks, sorry, I spoke with Nicole at cutting edge and she’s the one who told me that they make a 377 mag feed version for gunwerks that has the sealing band towards the front of the bullet allowing it to be seated further back in the case, as a matter of fact, she told me they just shipped an order of 2500 for gunwerks for one of gunwerks customers, so yes they do make them, problem is that if you can’t get them from gunwerks you are sol because cutting edge won’t sell them to the public. It also carries with it the same profile and bc numbers, the only difference is where the band is located.

Hm...interesting. How much (available) case capacity do you lose?

No clue, but with what I’m planning on building it shouldn’t hurt much from a 32” barrel. The hamr had a 29” tube by the way.

For a $250 program fee and a minimum purchase of 250 projectiles they will make you what you want.
