I need a little advice for making my 338RUM a little more field friendly. I have owned it for about a year and would like to make a few changes to it but need help deciding on the best and most cost effective ways to get it done. It is a Rem 700 BDL LH. I want to use this as a hunting rifle and keep weight to the lower end of the spectrum, but still be able to shoot out to 1000 yards. I want this to become my primary rifle.
Wish list:
Muzzle brake (screw on)
Lightweight stock
Extended recoil pad or longer stock
Detatchable magazine, that will allow for 300gr bullets
