Has anyone compared the 250smk and hornady 250 bthp. Just curious about bearing length. Sierra shows much higher charges then hornady. I know load manuals are always different I just haven't seen this much difference before. I ran out of match kings, the hornady was closest substitute. I'll work up loads as usual I just don't want to start 12 grains low if any of you have seen similar pressures between these 2 bullets. Hornady start load with h1000 is 77.9 sierras is 89.3 which is almost the hornady max. The match king in my gun shot excellent at 99 grains. They're shaped very similar any guess as to why the BC is so much higher on the hornady? .670 to sierra's .587. As always thanks for any suggestions. Fyi the smk makes an excellent very accurate coyote load
