338 TOMAHAWK 338/300 Ultra

Do you guys shoot these (338/300 Ultra length rounds) as single shots or can the 225/250 gr bullets be effectively loaded to magazine (700 REM) length? TIA.

I have two friends that have .338/300 mod 700
rem repeaters one has a mod 70 repeater I shoot my as a single shot(markX).One friend has some excellent results with the 250gr.killing Elk out past 600yds. with ease.
And a black bear @ 835yds.
