So here's my question If a suppressor is rated for 338 Lapua Will it also handle the 338 edge? Or does the 338 edge generate more pressure? Thanks for your help in advance

Call the manufacturer is the correct, safe answer.

Longer answer:

They changed it for the newest model, but TBAC has this note on their 338 Ultra:

APPLICATION NOTES

Minimum barrel lengths:
.300 Blackout: 8"
6.8 SPC, 7.62x39: 10" *
.223 Rem, 5.56, 6.5 Grendel: 11.5" *
.308 Win: 14.5" *
7mm RM, 7mm WSM, .300 WSM, .300 WIN MAG: 18"
7mm RUM, .300 RUM: 20"
.338 Lapua Magnum: 16"
Please contact tech support for:
7mm cal loads exceeding 90 powder grains,
.30 cal loads exceeding 100 powder grains

The root of what they're getting to is that muzzle pressure is what does damage to a suppressor - to much of it in general, and too much of it for how hot the metal is during a firing schedule. You'll notice the .338 minimum length is shorter than the 7mm ands 308 magnums - because the larger bore has a lower muzzle pressure at any given powder mass. That's why 223 Rem has a longer minimum barrel length than a 6.8 SPC - the 6.8 bore is larger so has a lower muzzle pressure even with the increase in case powder capacity.

Another thing to consider is that these are barrel lengths minimums are related to a maximum pressure in the sense that they're the highest pressure point - longer barrels have lower muzzle pressures so you could be in the place where it never matters if you shoot a 28-32" tube.
