I have a 338 MAX put it together this fall.

Savage long action
Accu trigger
Boyd's stock
Wilson 10 twist barrel (broke in really nice)
50 pieces of Sherman brass fire formed (once fired)
Whidden die set
Weights 10.4 lb as pictured

There is a couple marks on the barrel where I missed the aluminum sleeve with the spider see pictures.
Exactly 50 rounds down the barrel (fire forming brass and barrel break in)shot really well no problem hitting a 4" plate @350 with the fire forming load.

Recoil is stout not horrible my 75lb 12 year old shot it a few times didn't bother him enough to make him not want to shot it.

My fire forming load was 230eld-x over 60 grain of varget

I didn't check just fire formed the brass so far I was hoping for around 3000 though.
