Whidden dies and 338 max headstamp brass available now? Do you still need to neck up the brass?

Considering a build on a LA Borden that I just got.

So I'm getting close cutting steel on one these. I was just wondering if there were any updates out there from current owners...
Basics of my build will be a Tikka T3X donor sporting a new 23" Benchmark barrel with 8.5 twist.

I'm having another one built off a blueprinted 700 with a 9.3 twist bartlien for the the heavier bullets.

Any luck with the heavies in your new rig? What speed did your accuracy end up at with the 225 Dozers?

I'll be doing a 24" when I build mine. Plan on shooting the CE lazer 265. Building off a tikka! I'm excited

The 250 Lazer is one of the mono bullets I've been looking at. Any luck with your 265's?

I'm going with a 20"...... hoping 250g Berger hits mid 2800's

Did you get close to the speeds you were after?

I haven't built the other one yet, I have too many other gun projects I'm playing with, including 2 other Shermans. but I ended up getting a little over 3000 with both the 225 dozer and the 230 ELD-M but settled on about 2985 average. first pic is 230's the second is the 225 dozers

Hey guys what's the consensus on the max I had thought briefly about converting my 338SS to the Max version with intent on 270ELDX.
what seems to be go to powder I'm running a 24" 9.5 twist I was able to get close to 2700 in my SS would it be possible to get mid 2800s with 270? I would like to run 560
i mean I'm almost at 2900 with mySS and a 230eldx and 2835 with250 Berger Is it worth the conversion?

Formed 10 this past weekend..... had some 285 eldm's layin around so good FF candidates.
mused 215M w/ 60g h100v under the 285s with a .0100 jam.
Start of break in wasn't a bad day..... shot, clean, shot, clean..... POI was good throughout.
Seems like it'll shoot. Now to finish break in and FF and move to the 250 Elites

Good looking rig there. I like short carbon barrel in that setup.

250 Berger will run 2900 with a 24" barrel
