If it were me I'd

Call Barnes

or

Call the Power manufacturer

or

Get Quickload.

gun)I just picked up a new xcr2 in a 338 rum 26 inch .
Im going to shoot 265 lrx but cant find any reloading data for it .
What is everyone useing, velocity, and any data would be awsome thanks

Best I can do for you is the load data for the 250g XFB. You just need to reduce the loads a bit and watch for pressure. According to the Barns book R25 and MRP are going to give you the best speeds, but they also have XMR 3100, RL19, H4831, H1000, IMR 7828, and Big Boy listed. I will put the load data for what I consider the 3 most popular powders below.

RL25 83g at 2695, 88g at 2857
H1000 88g at 2628, 93g at 2771
R19 77g at 2565, 82g at 2772

If you want one of the other powders listed just say so, I would thing RUTUMBO and R33 would be options as well.

I stick to H1000 and Retumbo with my .338 RUM. I haven't tried the 265's, but have used the 250 triple shock.
I would start with H1000 and use the min. charge for the 250's and drop a grain or two. Work up to your max.

You will probably have a hard time fitting them to the mag length and have them shoot well. I just started to use the 250 grain elite hunters and am Very happy with them, fitting the mag and having great accuracy... speed to boot (3125 fps).

Called barnes to day so far this is what they got out of a 24inch barrel
r22 min 69.8 2484 ft
r22 max77.6 2710 ft
h4831 min 76.2 2549 ft
h4831 max 84.6 2763 ft
They said with my 26 barrel i can add a 100 ft easy
With my lapua i had i had good results with r25 like to see what that does, now i just need a scope for the gun

In 2 different rifles, both trued Rem Actions, one with a Douglas barrel, the other with a Hart barrel, I loaded 87gr for one and 88.5 for the other, 3.630 OAL, CCI 250 primers and Remington brass.
The velocity for both was 2895 - 2910fps and shot 1/2 minute.
Both rifles have 26" 1-10 twist barrels and muzzle brakes.
Using the slower powders I did not get the accuracy or velocity.
I would start at 85gr and work up in 1/2 grain increments.

Hope this helps.

To avoid anyone from misunderstanding your information, you may want to specify which powder and which bullet you are referring to. Is this data for RE25 and 265gr LRX bullets?
