Myself I would prefir the 338 RUM for long distance shooting

By long range, i am talking 1000 yards. Which caliber will be better suited for that distance and why? How will the heavier bullet from the 338 affect bullet drop as it compares to the 300? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
