.338 Lapua on a Remington 700?

I'm thinking about doing it. I have a 700 Long Action. I need to open up the bolt face a bit for the mag rim. I haven't decided. At first I was gonna go with the 6.5-284, then I started thinking 308 AMU or 300 Ackley MAG, then 308 BAER, now maybe 338 Lapua. I'm torn.

Here's my 338 Laupa built on a Rem-700

There are quite a few notable smiths that will build a 338 Laupa on a 700 action...

This rifle is set up for a 3.9" loaded lenght. I am still waiting on the detacthable box mag that accepts the 3.9" loaded lenght
