I have a lot of components left for 338 Lapua.

Wondering if there are accuracy differences for the Christensen Mesa with the metal barrel or mpr with the carbon fiber barrel.

Would likely be using a suppressor as well.

I have had a few Christensen including a 338 with a carbon barrel and I would star clear of them. The ones I have had started throwing wild shots once the rifles got to around 300rds. They were 3/4-1 moa guns up until that. They're not horrible but I believe you can Do better. Something like a Sako S20 or Tika T3 tactical would be my suggestion.

I've had 9 Christensen Arms rifles. Mostly The Ridgeline but one ELR in 338 Lapua which is a switch rifle with a 27" 30-338 Lapua Imp Christensen Arms carbon barrel. It shoots the 245 gr Berger EOL very well and rings my AR500 plate at 1000 like no other. It's just an awesome rifle. My 6.5 PRC Ridgeline is going on 600 rounds. I would own another.

FWIW. I have an ELR 300 rum 220 eldx bugholes. ELR in 28 Nosler 162 eldx consistent 5/8. Ridgeline 6.5 PRC bugholes with 156 eol 1/2 consistent with 143 eldx I did change the stock on ridgeline to a carbon stockys and bedded it. ELRs I just keep feeding. No experience with their steel barrels.

I have 3 Christensen rifles, a MPR .300 WM steel barrel, MPR .338 Lapua carbon barrel and a BA Tactical in .300 WM carbon barrel, they all shoot better than I do. I without question will own another. Great rifles and I hear their customer service is great also!

I have a MPR in 338 LM. I put an elite iron Sierra suppressor on mine. It shoots very well! I'm going to swap out the NXS for a Nx8 4-32 to shave a little weight off it. I have a load running 300gr nosler accubonds @ 2690fps that will keep 3 shots under .75" consistently.

Very nice rifle Thebear!!
I decided to wait on the suppressor, there is a new one coming out. I have a Leupold 7-35 MK 5 illuminated, it is not a light rifle by any means. I have zero complaints on Christensen Arms!

The Nx8 noticeably lightens up the rifle, it feels like a better fit than the bigger NXS.

I have the Christensen 338 LM in the MPR Chassis with a Vortex 5-25x50 FFP. I built it last year specifically for elk hunting in NV. It now has 4 elk to its credit from 640 yards to 875 yards. 3 of 4 were one shot kills.
Hornady Precision Hunter Ammo with 270gr ELDX will shoot 3/4 moa all day long. My hand loads with 230gr ELDX bullets and IMR 7828SSC shoot one hole groups regularly at 100 yards.
The felt recoil with this gun is minimal mostly due to the great muzzle break Christensen uses. I often spot my own impacts with this gun at ranges of 400 yards or more because the recoil is so manageable. My wife has shot 20+ rounds thru it and swears the recoil is less than her old .243. In my opinion, I could easily shoot this gun all day long and get tired of nothing except the muzzle blast.
4 other Christensen Ridgeline models with similar scopes (three 6.5 CM's and a 7MM Mag) all love the Hornady Precision Hunter Ammo and easily shoot sub-moa.
