I checked 3 cases and i couldnt feel anything, so i took some hoppes #9 and cleaned the inside of the case and shone a light into the case and it was smooth as glass all the way to the bottom of the case.

My 338 LM (Lapua Head stamp) Brass was at 15 firings when I sold the rifle. Still going as far as I know. At 10 firings I checked the area above the web for thickness and it was fine in the 10 so I checked so I kept on running it.

If Lapua brass is going away in 5 firings there is something wrong in my mind.

I agree, I get usually get 8+ out of my other calibers using Lapua brass. So far I have been struggling with this rifle. Even before the case head separation, my groups have been erratic. I have to figure out what's going on with the rifle.
