I believe it's A Bartlein 2 B. I'll have to check for certain.

Just got a weight on the rifle on my bathroom scale. 11.6 lbs with the scope.
The barrel is a Bartlein 3b contour rather than a 2b. It is a 10 twist and 28" long without the brake. Built another just like it here is the new owners 100 yard target with 300grain Bergers. Two three shot groups. Three on the bottom and three in one in the center.

Dasher, what colors and at what percent are in the two stocks( 338 and 22-243ai). Whoever picked them did an outstanding job.

The title says "new" and he posted an identical builds group...it is most likely unfired.

Plowboy you are a well educated human and I can see you can read but if it's posted as "new" I will have the new rifle smell then I would hope and as I am trying to buy this weapon do I cut you the money order or ?

No need for attitude buddy, it wasn't meant like that. I'm sure you have sold items on here to be asked questions covered in the initial post. My apologies if I was rude, I was merely making sure you were aware.

The stock on the 22-243 is gray marble I believe it is 40% gray 30% dark gray and 30% black I think. The one on the 338 is 50% Olive 25% Tan and 25% black.

The rifle has been test fired and the break in process started with ~ 25 rounds of Berger 300 grain OTMs.
