338 edge Twist Rate?

Going to build a 338 EDGE. What twist rate it optimal if I wanna shoot both 250 and 300 gr bullets?

Most go with a 10" twist. That's what I used on the two that I have built. Works fine for the 300g SMK's. I also understand they work well on the 300g Berger Hybrids.

i shoot the 250 grain smks and have had great accuracy with them.my edge is a 1:10 twist which will also take the 300 grain smks.

Got a 1-9.5 layin around. See anything wrong with that?

I wouldn't hesitate with a 9.5. My smith recomended a 9.3 on an edge. I ended up going a different route and my 338LM will have a 1 in 9.
