Whats barrel life like on the 338 edge? and its a 300rum caes necked up to 338 right?

I've heard everything from 1000-2000 rounds for the Edge. Yes,just a 300RUM case necked up.

Well she is finished and she turned out better than I thought. We fired one round to check every thing out. I will post some pics tomorrow. I ended up having to buy a reamer and a head space gauge.

Well I finally have time to post a range report and all I have to say is "wow" my load that shoots the best is 91gr of H1000 with a 300gr smk and a federal gm215m primer here is a target.

The first 4 went in the top hole and I got a little excited and pulled the 5 shot
