I finally recieved my edge and am in the process of breaking in the barrel. On the 2nd shot I noticed slight ejector marks or ring beside the primer.
I've now shot 6 rounds and it is the same on each one. So I figured I had better crono a few loads to see where I'm at.
They shot 2590 and 2584 through a brand new crono. Cant think of the name now but was purchased from Sinclair and is blue. (duh)

So I'm using Remington brass
88gn. H1000
Fed Primer
300 gn. SMK
OAL...3.783

I measured my chamber and am about 10 thou off the lands or so.

So I'm thinking I have a bit of pressure which does not make sense because of the speed. Or the Rem brass is soft and it's just one of those things?

I'm thinking I should eventually be around 2900fps.

What do you think? Normal?

Thanks, Grin

I scrubbed the heck out of it before shooting the rifle. I cleaned the chamber itself with q tips and solvent. I'll double check just to be sure.
