338 edge dummy round help

i put the cart in front of the horse on this one.
I am building a 338-300 ultra(edge) on a savage long action and have ordered a barrel from pac nor this is going to be a single shot. Pac nor has asked for a dummy round to set up the chamber to finish the barrel but i dont have my dies yet to send them one.

my question is does any one have suggestion on coal for a single shot. am i better off running the tried and true 3.785 coal. i would like to run the new 338 bergers when available as well as the 300g sierras.

IF ANYONE IS WILLING TO BUILD ME A DUMMY ROUND I WOULD BE HAPPY TO PAY FOR TIME,MATERIALS,SHIPPING.

I have Chris at pac-nor build all my barrels. PM me with your name and contact info. and what length you want bullet seated to, and I will send Chris a dummy round for you. No charge.
