338 Edge build is complete

Couldn't be happier with this last build, this thing is a hammer! Minimal load development so far, but judging off of what it's produced in 20 rounds of development, it flat shoots. Stretched the legs out to 1225yards and pounded steel. Recoil is very minimum, and maintains sight picture very well. Shout out to Garret Schmidt at Root Rifles guy is an amazing smith. I have yet to get one that shoots over 1/2". Impeccable machining and craftsmanship.

That was with a 278 Grain Cooper, it's in development stages, but obviously shoots extremely well, so far on game performance has been very good.

This was a retrieved in the hind quarter on a bull shot straight on at approximately 200 yards, bullet maintained 45 percent of starting weight and as you can see had no problem shedding petals or causing internal damage. I am very skeptical of new bullet designs, I never held a lot of faith in copper bullets, I preferred cup and core bullets especially for hunting. But this has changed my mind about copper bullets. I think it is going to be a very strong candidate in a hunting bullet.

That's awesome. My Rebel is a shooter too, I got a second bolt cut with the magnum bolt face for a RUM/RSAUM case when I nuke the original barrel.
