338 caliber, 300 Matchkings for long range hunting?

I've heard of people using 300gr Matchkings for long range hunting and was wondering how well they worked. I'm working up loads for a 338/378 Weatherby for hunting and was courious about the Matchkings?

Partway down page 1 of this tread is a picture of a 300 338 SMK I recovered from a moose. I've killed 3 moose, many deer and hogs with the 300 338SMK, all one shot.
