I had a 338-06 built up about 5 years ago. Its been a great shooting deer rig for me and my handloads are very accurate at the range though i've only shot it out to 250yds.
I was wondering if anyone has used this round for any long range shooting? I was told not to expect it to be great out past 300yds?????
Just looking at the possibilities of turning it into a "better" rifle in the future.
