I'm running 83.5 grains but my coal 3.567", depending on your rifle you may not be able to push yours that hard. As always start low and go up watching for pressure. Also my barrel seems fast and I've verified drops to 1200.

Yes sir, wasn't going to start that high, good to know what others are doing.I'm running 83.5 grains but my coal 3.567", depending on your rifle you may not be able to push yours that hard. In these magnums how big of steps do you take for a pressure ladder I am going to try to run a 260 gr. Hammer hunter in my 33 nosler, I mocked up a dummy round and can get 3.580". Steve from hammer suggested R16 and start at 64gr. nosler has data for 250gr. With range from 68-72gr. I understand start low but how big a jump .5 grains at a time?I figured but I always say it anyway

Rusty85, did you try any other powder other than h1000, reloader 16 didn't get me what I wanted, I am thinking about giving h4350 a try and H1000I'm running 83.5 grains but my coal 3.567", depending on your rifle you may not be able to push yours that hard. Thank youI tried rl23 but kinda seen the same thing. H1000 was the definite winner in my rifle.
Are you using Nosler brass?I tried rl23 but kinda seen the same thing. H1000 was the definite winner in my rifle.
Yes. Bertram give me a few test pieces before it come out but the weight was all over the board so I didn't spend a lot of time really testing it. I wish Peterson or ADG would make a run of it.Are you using Nosler brass?
