308 win rechambering ?

What are my options here. I have a rem sps-v in 308win and some day I wana rebarrel and possibly rechamber just don't knw all my options in calibers. And what has to be done to change to 300WSM or 7mm WSM if it can even be done with the factory action? Thanks

the 300,7mm wsm can be done but you would have to open the bolt face up to .540by a good gun smith

You can choose (1) Rechamber, no reboring, (2) Rechamber, reboring ok, or (3) Rebarrel.

You are also going to have to alter the feedrails. If you want to go to a WSM, I would start with an action designed for the WSM. You will be better off in the long run.
