Make sure you match your twist rate though. Tikkas have been known to underspin. Bigger pills may be an issue. If able, the 185gr Berger Classic Hunter has been an easy to shoot factory offering.

If rolling your own, the 180 Elite Hunter worked well.

As mentioned though, put just about anything in the right spot and you will probably be fine.
 
It really depends on your range limitations. I've used 165gr BT and 180 gr PT. My buddy uses 165gr PT for everything including elk. Our range limitations are pretty low though with these loads. Around 200 yards for elk and 300 for deer.
 
I also have a T3X SL 308 and it absolutely loves Federal Premium 150 Gr Ballistic Tips. It will group like this pretty regularly if I do my part and it does a number on whitetails.
