I have looked everywhere for load data on .300WSM using 178gr. Hornady ELD-X bullets and H1000 powder. Does anyone have anything that can help me?? Thx!!

I think that this combination is way too slow to make even the most conservative loads.

I'm running an OAL of 2.925 for DBM and using Re-16 which is making good velocity without being at the top of the pressure range.

You could also try:

Ramshot Hunter
H-4350
IMR-4350
Norma URP
VVN-150

Yeah, h1000 may be a bit too slow for that light of a bullet. I'd maybe try a different powder for those. 4350 or 4831 maybe

If you really wanna try h1000 I'd start at 78gr and work up from there. That should be a fine starting point but I'd contact hornady and they may be able to save you some time.

Hodgdon doesn't even list H1000 as a recommend powder until you hit 200gr. It's probably going to be slow and dirty. H4831 is probably going to be a little on the slow side too, but would work all right. H4350 would probably be your best bet.

Reloaded 17, H414 or another powder in that range is going to do much better for you with that combo than H1000.

PDX, loading H4350 in my hunting pal's 300WSM with 185gr Bergers. Very accurate, tried H4831SC but couldn't equal the H4350 load. Good luck
