First i took the stock off of the action. Second i took a old white t shirt and cut a section out of it and put alcohol on the cloth and wiped down the whole stock. From there i was careful not to touch the stock with my hands and found a clothes hanger and hooked the stock with the clothes hanger. I then took it outside and hung it up. I took the light color that was going to be my base color and sprayed on a light coat. I then took it in the basement. (the paint says that it needs to be above 50degrees to work properly) I let it dry for about 6 or 7 minutes then took it back outside and put another coat on. I repeated this step 3 times until i got the color i wanted. After getting the color where i wanted it i let it sit about 20 minutes then went outside and got my evergreen tree branch. I hung the stock back up outside and put the branch against the stock and took the top coat color ( in this case Hunter Green) and sprayed across the branch. I repeated this step until i was happy with how much green there was on the stock. I posted a couple of pictures. First one is the paint i used. The second one is the branch i used and the third one is showing how i held the branch up against the stock while painting. I do reccomend getting a branch long enough that you can start your spraying before you get to the stock and continue spraying until you get off the other side so that you are not starting and stopping on the stock. Starting and stopping on the stock could result in uneven or sparatic spray. If you got any other questions ill try to answer them. Thanks again for all the compliments. Now i want to try to paint one that looks like treebark...... not sure how im gonna do that but the gears are turning.

[QUOTE="sniperjwt, post: 369307, member: 22262"] alright i will explain exactly what i did. It is very simple actually. This is step by step.
