Ordered some 180gr NBTs for Brother-in laws 300WSM, and I'm torn between RE19, RE22 and H4831SC for a powder, would use Nosler's accuracy load of 61grs. N550, but don't need 2lbs of powder, which nobody has any in stock around here anyway, and it's expensive, too. So out of the other 3 powders, is one going to be any better than the other? Thanks, Jay

I have had very good luck with Vithavuori N550 with the 175 MatchKing. As you stated the Nosler 5th edition manual lists N550 as the most accurate powder they tested with 180 gr. bullets. If you can get your hands on some I bet it shoots very well. It also works very well with a 165 gr. bullets in a 308 Win. Don't over look RL-19.

I used RL-22 for my .300 WIn Mag and 180g B-tips. Velocity was 3100+ with 3/4" accuracy out of a Ruger S/S. RL-22 is a good powder. Has always been consistant and accurate. I would go for RL-22.
