300 WSM RL 17 Accubond

Hey Guys,

Looking for a starting point on my ballistic charts as I do not own a chrono.

Shooting a Remy 700 w/ 24" tube. Load is 65 grains of Reloder 17, Fed 215 Primer, and 180 Gr Accubond.

Anybody out there running anything similar so I can get an idea of velocity. Was thinking like 3000-3050 fps?

I'm getting right at, or a tic over 3100 fps with 65 gr RL-17, & 180 Accubonds out of my 26" Hart 10 twist.
3800' asl. 96* f. Nosler brass. .018 off lands, fed 215

With fast and slow barrels, loose and tight chambers etc. trying to guess the FPS is about as easy as picking the winning lottery numbers.

put a taget at 500 yard get your real fire come ups and run it from there.
